Chuan Seng Trading: designing an air-conditioning website from the room outward
BrightStorm is the brand presented by Chuan Seng Trading Sdn Bhd. Instead of forcing every visitor through one sales funnel, this case-study redesign begins with the place that needs attention and then opens the appropriate official catalogue or service route.

Three spaces, three different questions
The website becomes easier to navigate when the visitor’s setting determines what deserves attention first.
Which air conditioner or ventilation route suits the room?
The official catalogue names Air Conditioners and Fans & Ventilation as separate families. The layout keeps those choices visible without claiming stock, capacity or compatibility that the public pages do not verify.
Product research may need an installation conversation.
Aircon Service & Installation is published as its own official service route, so it sits beside the catalogue rather than being disguised as a checkout step.
Smart Home Solutions has both catalogue and service relevance.
The distinction helps a visitor decide whether to browse a named family or describe a site requirement.
Open a catalogue drawer
Four product families are named on the official site. They are discovery cues, not evidence of current authorisation or availability.
Or open a service conversation
Two service names were inspected. Their placement answers a different buyer task: move from “what can I browse?” to “what does the site need?”
The final screen behaves like a site-note cover.
The official contact form requires a name, contact number and email. Upload File and Message are optional, giving a visitor room to attach or explain useful context without the portfolio inventing a technical specification.
